Millimages receives the Export Award 2018 from TVFI for flagship series MOLANG

MILLIMAGES garnered the Export Award yesterday for its MOLANG series from TV France International, the industry association that celebrates French audiovisual distribution and that rewards the world’s best-selling program every year.

MOLANG (156×3’30) is distributed in 190 countries across Europe, America, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. The series has been nominated for the Emmy Awards in 2016 and reached record ratings in numerous countries including in the USA with Disney Junior, in the UK with Cartoonito and in Italy with Rai.

In France, the series is currently airing on Canal+ and on TF1. Season 4, in coproduction with Canal, is currently in the writing stage and production will be launched early May.

The series is also making a big splash on social networks attracting both adults and kids. The #mybestfriend webseries reaches several million every week. The Licensing and Merchandising activities are booming with products available in distribution networks on all continents (Alibaba in China).

After only 2 and a half years, Molang’s breakthrough on TV, on social networks and in the licensing space herald MOLANG as the rising star of French animation.
